Rental Note is a fully offline, on-device application. ALL data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to external servers. We have designed Rental Note with privacy as a core principle -- your data belongs to you and stays with you.
All of the following information is stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage and is never transmitted off your device:
None. Rental Note does not collect any automatic data. There are no analytics, no crash reports, and no advertising identifiers.
Your data is used solely to provide the local app features you interact with:
Your data is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the app's core functionality.
All data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage within the app's private container. Your data benefits from your device's built-in security features (device passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and the iOS data-protection APIs, which encrypt app data when your device is locked). We have no access to your data -- it exists only on your device.
If you have iCloud Backup or iCloud Device Backup enabled on your device, iOS may include Rental Note's local data in your encrypted iCloud Backup. That backup is encrypted and managed by Apple under Apple's privacy terms; LUQ LABS cannot access it. You can exclude Rental Note from iCloud Backup in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup > Apps Using iCloud.
We do NOT share your data with any third parties. Your data leaves your device only if you affirmatively choose to export it, for example by using the iOS share sheet to send a generated PDF or CSV to another app (Mail, Messages, Files, Notes, or a third-party app you select). When you share to a third-party destination, the receiving app handles the exported file under its own privacy policy, not this one. Choose destinations you trust.
None. Rental Note does not integrate with any third-party services. There are no ad networks, no social media plugins, no tracking pixels, and no external SDKs that access your data. Rental Note does not display the Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt because it does not engage in tracking.
Rental Note is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). The app is intended for property management by adults.
You have full control over your data at all times:
Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the application. We do not retain any copy of your data on any server. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, Apple retains an encrypted copy of your device backup per Apple's retention terms.
Rental Note does not collect, sell, share, or disclose any personal information to any third party, and does not process personal information on any server we control. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months. California residents nonetheless have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of personal information, and a right to non-discrimination. Because we do not hold any personal information about you, there is nothing for us to return, delete, or correct on our end — all data remains under your exclusive control on your device.
For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: Rental Note processes personal data only on your own device. LUQ LABS does not receive or host your rental data on any server, and therefore is not a data controller or processor with respect to that data in normal use. If you contact our support team, we act as the controller of your email correspondence (legal basis: legitimate interest in providing support, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You may contact us to exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection rights with respect to that correspondence, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
In Apple's App Store "App Privacy" disclosure, Rental Note is declared as "Data Not Collected." The developer does not collect any data from this app, and the app is not used for tracking as defined by Apple.
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent.
